Uneventful week really.

Thursday I went to Wild Country, but most of the crew wasn’t there, so it was kind of weak.

Friday I went out with Darren and Lisa. We went to Shenanigans over on the west side, then to Vespers by Route 15. After that we had some after hours action at my place. It was really fun to go out.

Friday I hung out most of the day, then we played poker, then the free buffet. Sunday was similar, except I won the game on quad aces. It was about the best end ever to a poker game that I have seen.

Not many plans all week. Pay day tomorrow. Wild Country Thursday, no real plans this weekend. I’m spending most of my time trying to get InterFAQs off of the ground. No bites so far, but if 1% buy (which is quite typical for internet customers), I need to get several hundred hits before I can expect anyone. But each customer will make the next that much more likely.

Wednesday was really quite cool. I had heard Bigfoot was from St. Louis, but I had never been there, and it was actually pretty cool. Alex got a huge kick out of it because he loves trucks and that thing is frickin huge. He also got to drive a miniature car and he really loved that too. I babysat him Wednesday night then chilled the rest of the night.

Thursday was rather uneventful. Work all day, then Wild Country that night. Lindsey went with me. My waitress up there said I would be on her list, but turns out she couldn’t remember my last name so I didn’t make it on there. She promised me that I would be on it this week. It’s not that big of a difference to me. I told her whatever money I save on admission will go towards her tips. So if I don’t get in for free that’s $5 less she earns that night.

Friday my parents, Alex, the other young rascals in the extended family, and I went to the City Museum. I had never been there before and I had no idea what to expect. It was really awesome there–not like a museum at all. All you do is do stuff while your there. It was really awesome. AFter that I worked the second half of the day.

Went home after work and pretty much crashed because I was so beat from my late Thursday night and busy day.

Saturday the new crew and I were going to watch all 3 American Pie movies only to find out my DVD-ROM in the little black box doesn’t work anymore. We ended up playing poker (I won) then hitting the Dandy Inn free Saturday night buffet at midnight. Man I love their hot wings.

Sunday we played poker again and Lindsey and Patrick joined us. Nick ended up winning. I hate when you play poker and you play everything right but people just have the cards against you.

Yesterday I worked late to make up for missing an hour last week, ate dinner, then got back about 9. I took a trip to Garden Ridge and Walmart to buy the supplies to build my key holder that going to go next to my door.

Today was a normal day at work. After work I sanded everything and painted everything. I’ll let it cure overnight and take it back tomorrow.

No real big plans for the rest of the week except for being a total pimp at Wild Country, but what’s new?

All in all the whole last week has been pretty uneventful.

The dollar queen pizzas ended up being free because they couldn’t figure out how to split up the checks, so they comped the whole pizzas. It only took us about an hour to get back on the metro link because they kept on shutting down trains on the way back.

Wednesay I didn’t do much. Lindsey was supposed to come down, but she ended up being gay and not coming down.

Thursday Dad helped me install the other fan, and then I hit up Wild Country. I ran into a really hot girl there that I met at a party at my apartment in Februaryish. Turns out she remembered me and I didn’t remember her. I got her number again. She seemed really nice. Unfortunately she lives in Jerseyville and is going to Semo this fall. We talked on Friday night, but I doubt much will happen between us. I called again, and she hasn’t called back. I don’t assume she will, and that’s probably good, only because I don’t want to get attached to a girl that moving away.

Sunday we played poker, and of course I didn’t win.

Yesterday I hung out most of the night. Tonight I did the same minus the fact that I picked up a 13 inch tv for my bedroom and a couple things at Garden Ridge. I spent most of the proceeds from the sale of my iPod on these things that I do need.

Tomorrow I’m working a half day at work, because we’re taking Alex to see Bigfoot tomorrow morning.

Thursday’s wild country, and Friday’s probably another half day because we’re going somewhere else with Alex.

Well no random occurences for girls so far, but I guess I’ll keep my eyes open.

I didn’t do much of anything all last week.

Thursday I waxed Mindy again and then went to Wild country.

Friday my parents came over for dinner and my dad helped put in a ceiling fan in my bedroom. After that we ate pizza (they paid) and they left. I was supposed to hang out with Woody from Wild Country that night, but they ended up staying in Columbia, so I ended up chilling by myself.

Saturday I got up surprisingly early (~9:30am) and watched Real Genius on Comedy Central. I’ve been meaning to watch that movie for years, so it worked out really well. After that I cleaned up and went out with Jeanie. We went to Lebanon to walk around downtown. It was a pretty good time. She’s a great girl, but I really don’t see us clicking and/or going out again.

Sunday the family clan and I went to St. Charles for the 4th of July celebration. It’s actually pretty good out there. There are all the benefits of Fair St. Louis, but none of the problems (overcrowding, drunk white trash). As I was afraid, Alex didn’t like the fireworks at all. He was a little scared of them. Poor little kid.

Today hung out with Darren, Nick, Lisa, Chris, Anne, and B Kezzie over at Lisa’s. We went swimming until it clowded up and stormed something fierce. After that we played some poker and went to Fazoli’s for dinner.

Tomorrow the mini crew and I are going to the Casino Queen because they have $1 7 inch pizzas tomorrow because the Cardinals scored between 7 and 11 runs today.

Wednesday I’m supposed to hang out with Lindsey because I haven’t talked to her much at all since school got out, and we used to talk all of the time.
