Yeah yeah yeah, it’s been awhile since my last post. I’ll try and catch up quickly.

Won the third game by 40 something, brings us to 2-1. We don’t have a game until the first Friday in Jan. I think we should be fairly well prepared. It’s against this team made up of all Bosnians. They all look 25 and are pretty big. If everyone shows up ready to play, we’ll do ok, otherwise, we will probably lose. I’ve had some bewildering problems getting people to show up to the last couple practices. Hopefully the problems will resolve themselves when we have different starters at the next game.

Christmas was pretty sweet. Everyone from colorado was in town for the weekend, so we got together pretty much everyday. Last Wednesday I had lunch with Adriane and it really wasn’t akward at all. It was good to try to get stuff squared away before she moves away possibly forever. At least now I can say I am on good terms with half of my exgirlfriends. Last Thursday I went over to Lisa’s then out to Big Daddy’s. It was good to be around people again. I didn’t stay out too late. Friday night I was over at Steph’s because we had our annual cousin’s Christmas over there for the first time ever with the Colorado cousins. Friday was Christmas Eve. We opened up gifts and such, went to church, then out to good ‘ole New Minden. Sunday went out to New Minden again. Good food, people, and pinnochle.

This past week has been fairly uneventful. It’s been kind a down week at work because half of our suppliers are gone and my parents are watching Alex all week. Things will resume normality next week. Tomorrow night I’m cleaning and getting stuff together after slightly rearranging because I’m having a few people over for New Year’s eve. That should be fun.

Lost the 2nd game by about 11 and brought us to 1-1. I just couldn’t get them to play. If they would play he whole time, we would have won. We have another game tomorrow. The team we’re playing is not someone we can’t beat. Hopefully they’ll show up ready to play and we’ll do ok.

I didn’t do a whole bunch of anything this past week. Thursday I went to Shenanigans in Edwardsville because it was a big deal with it being the Thursday of finals week. It was a pretty good time. I was tired as a mug yesterday from getting back late. Today I just sat around and watched TV and crap all day. Another Dawson’s Creek DVD, etc. Last night I watched The Island. I had heard it was pretty bad, but I rather enjoyed it.

We won our first basketball game by over 50. We played against an all freshmen sophomore team. We were expected to win by that much. Still, it felt pretty good.

Tonight is my 3rd week without Wild Country. I’m still doing ok. I’m starting to feel a small craving to go again, and that’s what I need.

I am hitting netflix hard and tivo hard the last couple weeks. I’m really trying to get my money’s worth.

I realize today that no matter what my next car is, it will be rear wheel drive. With the snow today, I realize just how depressing front drive really is. Both the van and Mindy make it so clear that rear wheel drive is the only way for me. It is so incredibly boring when you can’t fishtale or anything. I was depressed after making the afternoon run because I couldn’t even do anything. Front wheel drive sucks.
