I has been a couple weeks since my last post. So I’ll try to catch up in a hurry. We had our last two basketball games. We lost them both. Although, today we had almost the best comeback ever. We were down by about 25 going into the 4th quarter and then came back to with 7, but not enough time. It was the best quarter I ever saw them play. I was really proud to be a part of the team.

Applebees a lot like normal. I’ve been seeing more success with PoweredStats. I’ve got a few real customers. None of them pay, but at least tracking. I’m going to run Adsense on the free trackers to try to generate some revenue. I also added a few different tracking images that can be selected from on the free accounts to help blend in to the person’s site.

Not a whole lot of news really other than that. I expect to be debt-free by the end of 2006. That will be sweet. Not a whole lot of work news other than PoweredStats starting to make some ground.

Not a whole bunch of stuff has been going on lately. I’ve been hanging out at Borders. For a couple reasons, really. One, I like to read free books and magazines, and, I’m never going to meet someone sitting alone at my apartment. Now, I may not meet anyone at Borders, but mathematically, the chances are infinitly higher.

We had small groups at church on Tuesday, and I tell you, we never get anything done. All they ever want to do is play hide and seek. You’d think these kids are 10.

Wild Country on Thursday was pretty good. I’m trying to stick with the every other week principle. It keeps me going pretty good, and it costs about half as much.

Yesterday I spent about 3 hours at this furniture place in Edwardsville. We’re getting custom furniture built for the office, and it takes longer than you would think to go through every measurement. At least the whole thing’s a writeoff.

Today was a game against another good black team. We lost, but we played the best I’ve seen in a long time. I was really proud today when we were done. The season’s coming to an end. We haven’t done all that well on the scoreboard this year, but we’re a young team, and everyone has played really hard.

I took a nap when I got back and then had some Pizza Hut over at Mom and Dad’s. I worked on finally getting a good site for TFD Unlimited done. It’s a pretty decent design. No matter what, it did have to be the most professional site I’ve ever designed if it’s the corporate home of my company.

Practice and junk this week. Netflix and Tivo also will give me something to do. I’m trying to find something to do to keep myself busy when basketball is over. I’m thinking about taking a class at SWIC of something that really interests me or trying to find some place to volunteer where there will be lots of girls. Hopefully I can find a good place.

Numberswise we didn’t do too well in the tournament. We lost 2 and won 1. But numbers don’t always tell the whole story. We played really well in the games and I have no problems with losing as long as we play well.

Haven’t done a whole lot this week. With no practice on Monday and no small groups on Tuesday, I’ve almost forgotten what day it is without my landmarks. We did have practice last night. I have definitely toned down my level of hardassness as coach. I still ask for their best, but I have lessened the pushups and running in practice. I have also starting yelling less during the games. This is also because I kept on getting technical fouls. The overall moral is better. The team is so young and we don’t always play as well as I wish they would. I decided we’re not going to apply for state this year, because the kids don’t need to spend a couple hundred bucks to get torn up and out of the tournament in 2 games.

Tonight I’m going to dinner at Applebees with Lindsey and finally spending my card for 2 free entrees that I won from trivia there like 6 months ago.

Tomorrow is pretty much nothing. Saturday is an American Piathon with Darren and Lisa. We’re watching all 3 back to back. Just like old times.

Sunday we have a game against a really good black team and then I’m heading off to Aaron’s for Super Bowl festivities.
