Majorly Bored

It’s been a fairly uneventful week. Last week I didn’t do all that much. Tuesday Darren had his housewarming getogether so I went out there with Amy. We grilled some burgers and then played some poker. I didn’t do anything else until Friday, when I went over to Amy’s. I thought she would start opening up more to me by now, but she hasn’t. And that is basically what I told her. Give me a call if she wants to see me, otherwise I won’t call anymore. I doubt she’ll call.

Friday I got up frickin early to run, then went to the Sharper Image to blow my gift card and got stuck in stupid traffic. Came back and then went to Big Daddy’s with Darren and Lisa that night. They finally caved into my desire for Steak n shake chilli, too.

Yesterday I played softball with Chris Brown and his family. It was really fun. I never really play anything like that anymore, but it was suprisingly fun and I wasn’t too bad. I have no real plans this week.

Cindy’s Out

I guess it’s been a couple weeks since my last post, so here it goes.

I had my guitar debut at Zion last Sunday. It was pretty uneventful, which I guess it what you want when you’re trying not to suck. I did get a few compliments and interesting looks from people that had no idea I played the guitar also. It was a little gratifying because I’m better at the guitar than Clark is at the drums, and it showed.

I have officially severred communication with Cindy. She asked me to hang out last night, and I didn’t answer when I saw it was her. I have kind of been seeing Amy, or so I think.

We went out during the big storm on Wednesday night. We went to the loop. We had to try 3 places to eat before we could find a place that had power and didn’t have a cover charge to eat. After that we just walked around for a bit. I found out after the fact that it did storm pretty hard in the area we were in. Fairview was totally dark, which you rarely see. Then we got some McFlurry’s at the Swansea McDonalds. She’s a really conservative girl, which is a little different for me, but she’s a really great girl. I am curious how stuff may or may not pan out between us. She was out of town this weekend (or so she says). I called her today and left a voicemail. Hopefully she’ll call back.

Last night was about the weakest party ever. I went up to Darren’s and we grilled out. It was mainly week because it was only him, Lisa, and me there.

Tuesday is his housewarming getogether. I told Amy about it and I hope she goes. That would require her calling me back, though. So I guess I’ll just see where it goes.

I’ve starting running again in another attempt to get a little more toned. This time’s a little different because I am running at the track at East, not the trail. So at least I will get a sweet tan out of it. I’ve run out there twice already, and I’m already getting some color.

Abby the Alvarez

I bought my guitar. It’s a pretty sweet Alvarez. It plays so easily compared to my old acoustic. I’m ready for my debut.

The long weeked was just that, long. Saturday was free beer and fun at Zip downtown. Sunday was not much of anything. Monday the family and I went down to St. Charles as we yearly. It was fun down there.

The rest of the week was pretty unevently. Poweredstats got kicked of it’s hosting company from too much bandwidth usage. I switched over to a new hosting company. I had to go through some crap, but at least it works now. And it works even faster than before. This weekend I did really pretty much nothing. Friday night I did work on Poweredstats for awhile, but Saturday and Sunday I did really entirely nothing. Pretty weak. I don’t have anything to do all week either. I can only play guitar and piano so much before I go insane.

Cindy and I have been talking again. I don’t realy know what’s going to happen, but sometimes she’s really cool to hang out with.

I went out with Amy on Tuesday night. We went to Applebees then saw Click. You know it looks really dumb and the premise sounds totally lame, but it was really good. It was about 10 times better than I expected. I wish I could say the same for Amy. She seems really cool but totally indifferent to my advances. I called her later last week, and she didn’t really have much to say (big surprise there). I asked her to hang out with Darren and Lisa and I last night, but she says she’s out of town this weekend, and I believe her. I probably won’t call again.

I am halfway through my 4 day weekend. I haven’t had four days off since Christmas and I’m already starting to get bored. I think I might buy an acoustic electric guitar tomorrow to help push along my music studio transformation. I also need a guitar so I can be ready for my guitar debut at church on July 16th.
