Ron Wayne Anyone
Ron Wayne is the relatively unknown 3rd founder of Apple. He designed the Apple logo and wrote the first Apple, Inc. Operations manual. He had a 10 percent stake in Apple when it was founded. He sold it a couple weeks later for $800.
That 10 percent share would be worth about 500 million today.
Hmm
All in all, not whole lot happened over the last week. I didn’t do a whole lot. I worked out a couple times, but that’s about it.
The exception is this past Friday and Saturday. Zion had a lock in for the high school kids, and I volunteered to help out. It was pretty fun. We went to the YMCA for swimming and rock climbing, Denny’s, Bel Air Bowl, etc. It was pretty fun. I made it until about 6:30 when Kerri put in Glory Road, and I fell asleep a few minutes later. I didn’t go to bed until Saturday night, because I didn’t want to totally wreck my sleeping schedule. Needless to say, I was pretty beat Saturday during the day.
Virginia Tech
Everyone already knows about Virginia Tech. My prayers and sympathies go out to all of the victims and families and friends of the victims.
Here’s a time lapse video of the Wikipedia entry for Virginia tech, taken over a period of 12 hours.
Weird week.
I had a really weird weekend.
Friday, I went to Shenanigans with some people. I don’t out much anymore, so it was fun to go out. Then, some fights broke out around closing. I didn’t see anybody get really hurt, so it was kind of cool watching the fights.
Saturday I went out to Edwardsville because Jason, Jen, and Aaron were in town for the day. We played poker, and believe it or not, I won. I was having a very lucky poker day. After that we went to the Edwardsville Shenanigans for dinner.
After that I headed back, because I was going to the Funny Bone that night. I went, and it was alright. I’ve never been that impressed by stand up comics.
Sunday was church, and then Club. We rocked out pretty hard. After that I came back and watched some Lois and Clark.
I don’t have much going on this week until this weekend. Friday night is the lock in at church for the high school kids, and I’m working the whole thing. It should be fun, and tiring. Saturday morning I have band practice, so that should be fun after that. Then, I have to go to Steph and Joel’s new house. I’m wondering how I’ll make it, but I’ll pull through somehow.
At least Sunday I get to play electric at club. And, we have 2 parades come up in May and then June, and playing in parades is really fun, so I’m really looking forward to that.
Sweet Game
I found this game online, and it’s pretty sweet. It helps me get the desires I have to drift out of my system.

Looking Up
The last week has been pretty good.
With the exception of feeling a little crappy for a few days, it’s been going pretty well.
Friday night I went to St. Matthew’s for their passion play. I think it’s the 3rd time that I’ve seen it. It’s not as good to me as when I first saw it, but still pretty good.
Saturday, I didn’t really do anything. I had a weird urge to go to the Casino, so I went. I was the luckiest I’ve ever been at the roulette table. I came back $120 up. I couldn’t bet wrong.
Sunday was Easter. Kind of a weak Easter, really. Went out to my aunt and uncle’s place in New Minden. Ate, same old.
On the more upbeat news, I’ve been having some more luck with the ladies. We’ll see how it goes. There’s a couple new ladies in my life. I guess we’ll see how it goes.
Bill O’Reilly is still crazy
I’m not a big fan of Geraldo, and I’m a big fan of taking O’Reilly of of the air, but this clip from Bill’s show made Geraldo look good.
Fairly Uneventful
I can’t really say much has happened over the last week. Mostly just hanging out. I’m still running and lifting. I think I’ve gained some muscle, but it could just be all in my head.
Today, I left work at noon. I felt kind of crappy yesterday, and then I tried running last night. I guess I didn’t realize how cold it was, and that running on a full stomach was not wise. Anyway, I felt ok last night, but started feeling pretty crappy this morning. It felt like a cold mostly. Normally, I would have stuck it out, but being that it is probably pretty slow today and tomorrow, and Melody was there today to help, I figured it was a good choice. Today is the the 2nd day is almost 2 years that I’ve taken off because I felt sick.
