My house
I am exhausted
I am really worn out. I’ve been so busy with moving and class, that I haven’t had much time for anything else. The rooms are painted, the cable and internet installed, and I’m moved out of my apartment. I am officially in my house. I have most of my addresses changed. So far I like it. I should be unpacked in maybe another week.
In other news, this class I’m taking, it’s called something like Advanced Algorithms, is going to be pretty tough. I already feel like I’m working my butt off and barely keeping up.
I also have some job stress going on right now, but that should be resolved in a few days.
That’s it for now. I’ll be back when time permits.
Britney Spears is Hot Again
I had my doubts if it would happen again, but my doubts have been laid to rest.
She’s hot again!
Big Entry
Well, Vegas was great. I didn’t do too well, but I did do better than I expected. I didn’t lose as much as I had budgeted to lose. Darren, Nick, and Brian did pretty well. Darren and Brian came home about even, and Nick didn’t lose too much. Daniel didn’t gamble that much, but seemed to lose when he did. We did do some other stuff while we were there, but nothing that I should put in here.
Also, I am officially a home owner. I closed on Friday. My parents and I have been painting nonstop since Friday after work. I am fully exhausted. Today, Steph, Joel, and Alex came over and helped, too. Darren also stopped by to see the new crib. As of now, the painting is officially done. There is a little bit of touching up to do on the ceiling, but it’s pretty much done. We still have to paint some doors from one of the closets. Now, it’s time for a pretty massive cleaning. After that, I can start moving in. I need to get all my addresses changed, get my cable (internet) ready, odds and ends like that. But it’s pretty much inhabitable. I feel like I learned a whole lot about painting this weekend. I guess it’s not surprising considering how much I did.
In other news, the fall semester starts tomorrow for school. I’m taking some “Advanced Algorithms” class. We’ll see how it goes. I ended up getting a B in my last class somehow. Better than I expected, but I’m not complaining. If I got a B in that class, then the rest should be smooth sailing.
Viva Las Vegas
Well I don’t know how I did on my final yet. I’m unsure when the grades are posted. I think I did ok, but I also thought that I did ok on the midterm, too.
The house inspection stuff is still going on. There was the city inspection yesterday, and now that have to fix some stuff for that. After that, they’ll have to respond to the stuff that the normal inspection found and we requested be fixed.
More importantly, I’m heading to Vegas for the big bachelor party event in a couple hours.
Darren, Nick, Brian Keyes, Darren’s brother Daniel, and I are heading out there for the weekend. Our flight comes in at 3pm (Thursday) local time. Our flight leaves Sunday morning. I’m looking forward to getting pretty crazy. Lisa’s a little worried supposedly because she thinks that Darren and I get too crazy when we’re around each other. We’ll see.
